KIKIT is very proud to have suggested and successfully booked Annie Lennox and David Jordan for Quintessentially's, Feast of Albion. The 2009 event, held at the Guildhall in London, raised over 300,000GBP for the Soil Association and was aimed to encourage supermarkets to stop flying out-of-season produce across the world and rediscover locally grown, seasonal food.
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall created the feasts menu for Chef Mark Hix to prepare and it included canapus such as Windsor Park venison sausages, Highgrove mutton and turnip pies, and smoked pollack which was line-caught at Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage.
Guests included Mick Jagger, L'Wren Scott, Sophie Dahl, Richard E Grant, Jemima Khan, Colin Firth, Sting, Trudie Styler, Jamie Cullum, Jasper Conran, Patrick Cox and Charlotte Tilbury.
